'Vyapari' is directed and produced by Sakthi Chidambaram. The director has made a bold attempt with an absolutely new idea. He has given S.J.Suryah a new role different from his routine. The director deserves a praise for his work in presenting a good movie with all ingredients to suit Suryah's fans and other audience.
Surya Prakash (S.J.Suryah) is a successful businessman. His only dream is to become the richest person in the
world. He lives with his mother (Seeta), sister and brother-in-law (Vadivelu). He spends all his time looking after
over 300 business institutions. He comes across Savithri (Tamanna), a journalist, who wants to write an article
about him. A model (Malavika) and an air hostess (Namitha) also follow him to lure him. Surya Prakash is forced
to marry Savithri. Later he finds it difficult to balance between teh business and family. To overcome this, he
approaches Stephen Raj (Nasser). And how Surya Prakash succeeds in changing his life and attitude, forms the
rest of the story.
Performance:
S.J.Suryah steals the show. He proves his talent in his new found role also. Tamanna, who made her debut with
'Kedi', does her role with complete dedication. Malavika and Namitha have done justice to their glamourous roles.
Seeta suits the role of a mother well. Nasser is of first rate. Vadivelu is alright in his role. The others have done
upto the content. Music by Deva is the highlight for the film. All songs are catchy. Cinematography is good.
Dialogues are interesting. Story and screenplay are impressive. Direction is the main strength of the film. The
other aspects are alright.
