'Sabari' is directed by Suresh. The director seems to have inspired by Ramana. The film is packed with all the ingredients that suits the masses. The director has tried to give a script that suits Vijayakanth. He is sure to win the hearts of audience.
Story:
Dr Sabarivasan (Vijayakanth) is a senior cardiologist in Chennai Government Hospital. He tries to make changes in the Indian medical system. He successfully performs an open-heart surgery on a young girl. Nandini (Jyothirmayi) gets inspired by him and falls in love with him. Also a house surgeon (Malavika) falls for Sabari. One day he comes across a gang of dreaded criminals and he helps the police department capture them. The police encounter results in the loss of a big criminal. His brother Vajravelu (Pradeep Rawat) decides to take revenge with Sabari. And who prevails in the end, is to be seen on the screen.
Performance:
Vijayakanth does an excellent job as ever. His brilliance is shown in many sequences. Jyothirmayi does a good job. Malavika is intelligent. Pradeep Rawat does well as a gangster. Pithamagan Mahadevan is alright. Music by Mani Sharma is foot-tapping. Stunts form the main highlight of the film. Dialogues and screenplay are interesting. Story and direction is good. The other aspects are okay.
