Synopsis
: After the success of Gambeeram, Sarath plays the role of a soft guy who is provoked by the word 'yei' and takes to violence. on the sets of 'yei' Sarath said “My character promises to be refreshingly different. The unusual storyline is bound to make people take notice. Though I was Mr. Madras, I have not consciously projected my physique neither in media nor in films. But I am deliberately projecting my physique in this film since the film revolves around the hero with an extraordinary physique. There is a flash back fight scene in the police station where I fight in nude with the atrocious policemen which has been picturised very well. There is no vulgarity and it’s only suggestive. Director’s explanation was convincing and the story demanded such a scene. I think this is the first time a hero fights in nudity “. This is the second venture for director Venkatesh with Sarath after Maha Prabhu. Namitha plays the female lead. Asish Vidhyarthi plays the police officer role. For the first time Sarath has sung a song “Or onnu onnu”.
