'Veyyil' is director Shankar's fourth production venture. His current directorial venture 'Sivaji' is
in completion stage. Veyyil is directed by G.Vasantha Balan, Shankar's one-time associate. The film
casts Bharath, Bhavana in the lead roles. This is third film for Bharath in combination with Shankar.
The film also has Pasupathi and Shriya Reddy. Shriya plays a slum girl in the film. The film is said
to have an innovative storyline. It is based on the events in Virudhnagar.
Bharath is said to have worked well on the sets. The director hopes that the film will be a hit.
Bhavana, one of the upcoming actresses of Kollywood, is thrilled with her role in the film. She hopes
that the film will make her position strong in Kollywood. Director G.M.Ravi is also playing a key
role. The film is produced under the banner of 'S Pictures'. The audio released recently is getting
rave reviews from the audience. Its music is rendered by G.V.Prakash, nephew of A.R.Rahman. The film
