Synopsis
'Sathyam' is an action flick which tells the story of a sincere cop. After a commercial cocktail in 'Malaikottai', hero Vishal is ready to go with 'Sathyam'. He plays a tough policeman who is an encounter expert. The film is directed by R.D.Rajasekhar. Nayantara is the heroine.
The film is said to have many affectionate moments to attract audience. Vishal is said to have done rigorous workouts to trim down so that he can fit well in the role. It is heard that the actor has performed the stunt sequences without any duplicates. Nayantara plays a journalist. Kannada actor, director, producer Upendra is the villain. Sudha Chandran, who is now popular as a small screen producer, also plays a key role in the film. With the vibrant team, there is promising action, comedy, romance, and glamour in addition to a sturdy storyline in 'Sathyam'.
Produced by Vikram Krishna on the banner of G K Films, the film has its music rendered by Harris Jayaraj. Editing by Anthony, Art by Thota Tharani are said to be the highlights of the film. 'Sathyam' is simultaneously made in Telugu as 'Salute'. The story of this mega-budget venture happens in a metro and the shooting is being carried out in Chennai, Hyderabad, Ladakh, Rajahmundhry, Tenkasi and Kurnool. A runway sequence was recently shot exclusively in Dubai. The film has lyrics written by Pa.Vijay and Yugabharathy and dialogues by S.Gunasekaran.
