New faces Vaseekaran and Priyamani play the lead duo in this movie. In addition the movie has another first too. One of the top Srilankan actors, Sanath GunaTilak makes his debut in Tamil cinema. It doesn’t stop with him. Other stars like Kanchana, Panduga and Shanthi Kumar also are slotted in.
At a time when the norm is to shoot only songs in scenic locales abroad, this movie's shooting started in Sri Lanka and after a period of 36 days, it shifted to Chennai and Ooty.
