Synopsis
: Englishkaran, directed by Sakthi Chidambaram is the latest film from Satyaraj. Satyaraj and this director had always hit off well in the past with hit films like Looty and Maha Nadigan being well received by the masses. The film is a full length comedy entertainer for the entire family.
Satyaraj plays Tamilarasu, a Tamil born guy who thinks like an Englishman. Namitha plays his sexy wife. There is Madhumitha who plays Namitha’s sister in the film for an added attraction. Both the girls have shown glamour to a very large extent. Vadivelu plays Theepori Thirumurugam.
Englishkaran will be a trademark Satyaraj films with a lot of lollu dialogues, a bit of action, comedy, glamour plus a lot of masala. Sathyaraj has two glamour girls Namitha and Madhumitha for company.
Namitha is perfect foil for Satyaraja and together they make a hit-pair. In Maha Nadigan also the pair was well received. Namitha has shown a lot of oomph and glamour in the film as she is slowly turning out to be the sex queen of Kollywood.
There is a scene in which Satyaraj dresses like Jyothika in Chandramukhi climax and tries to scare Vadivelu. Sathyaraj took lot of time and energy to look like Ganga (Jyothika) when she is processed in the film Chandramukhi.
Deva is the music director of the film and there are some hot peppy numbers which is sure to rock. He is also doing a small role in the film. According to the director, a major highlight in the film is the comedy scenes of Sathyaraj and Vadivelu which will bring the house down.
