Synopsis
Sangeetha starrer 'Dhanam'is directed by debutant G.Shiva and produced by Nandivaram Sampathkumar under the banner of Sri Nandimedu Chelliyamman Movies. The film revolves around the life of a commercial sex worker played by Sangeetha.
National award winner Girish Karnad plays an important character in the movie. Ashish Vidyarthi, Vivek, Prem are also in the cast. The shooting of the movie is in its completion stage. It is learnt that Sangeetha has done well in the sets. She hopes that the film would be accepted by the audience. The director is confident about the film's success. The film was shot at famous dasi centres in Andhra Pradesh like Peddapuram and Silukoorpuram. The film has its music rendered by music maestro Ilayaraja. The lyrics is written by Vaali. Art director Thota Tharani has come up with excellent sets for the shooting that costs Rs. 30 lakhs. The film's audio is expected to release soon. |  |
