Synopsis
: Aayudhum is a movie produced by CEE (I) TV Entertainment with all the ingredients of romance and action. Parshanth and Sneha come together once again after Virumbigaren.

Maha (Sneha) is the daughter of Parthasarathy temple priest Ramakrishnan. She is a medical student and also teaches Bharathanatyam dance. Maya the bad guy, using his man and money power sells adulterated petrol. He is obsessed with Maha and will not allow anyone to come in between. Unable to escape from the clutches of Maya, Ramakrishnan decides to sell his house and vacate the neighbourhood. But Maya kills all the prospective buyers. Siva is the son of a police constable in Tuticorin. He is fun loving and fights for upright issues. Fearing that his son's future will be in jeopardy, Siva is sent to Chennai to do medicine. One of Siva's friends is deaf and dumb and so is Maha's sister. So they are familiar with the sign language. Their first meeting in a train happens when both of them misunderstand that they are deaf and dumb. They become friends and slowly this friendship turns into love. Maya sensing trouble comes in between the two lovers and goes all out to kill Siva. How Siva rescues Maha from the clutches of the bad Maya forms the climax of Aaydhum. Apart from the lead cast Vadivelu, Mansoor Ali Khan, Janakaraj, Manobala, Ajay Ratnam, Kalairani, Raman Ayyar and Besantnagar Ravi are also cast in the film. Murugesh, an associate of K.S.Ravikumar is directing this film. He has also written the story and screenplay. Dhina scores the music and the cinematographer is Arvind. Dr.Murali Manohar produces the film.
