Prithviraj is one of the most sort after actors in Kollywood, following back-to-back hits in 'Kanaa Kanden' and 'Parijatham'. His latest venture is back with 'Arputhath Theevu'. It is said to be the remake of Malayalam film titled 'Albutha Dweepu'. 'Azhagai Irukku Bayamai Irukku' fame Mallika Kapoor is opposite Prithviraj. The film is directed by Vinayan. According to him, there is something special about the film. Over 300 dwarf junior artistes are said to have roped in for the film to give a realistic touch.
The story is about a Wonder Island where no man exceeds the height of three feet but the women are of normal size and beautiful due to a curse. Indian Navy personnel swim to the shores of the island when their helicopter crashes. How they save themselves from the wrath of these Lilliputians forms the crux of the film. The cast also includes Manivannan, Karunas, Vaiyapuri and Malayalam comedian Jagadish. The film's dialogues are given by Rajan and its music by Jayachandran. The film also has an item song featuring Malavika. The film's audio is all set to release soon. Filmmakers are planning to release the film at the earliest.
