Synopsis
Malayalam mega star Mohanlal is back in Kollywood with 'Aran'. The movie is made simultaneously in Malayalam and Tamil. It has story, screenplay and direction by a former army man Major Ravi. The story is about the commandos and military men who toil to keep our borders safe from the minatory moves of terrorists.
Jeeva is playing a commando in the movie. He hopes high on the success of the movie. Mohanlal plays his mentor. Much of the shooting was confined to the sensitive India - Pakistan border and Ladakh with the army ensuring full protection. The movie would not just be an action entertainer but also have romance and sentiments. Lakshmi Gopalasamy is playing the role opposite Mohanlal.
In the impressive list of the supporting cast are Reema Sen, Delhi Ganesh, Cochin Hanifa, Biju Menon and Ganja Karuppu with the Hindi actor Nawab essaying an important role.
