Synopsis

S.J.Suryah’s much hyped film “BF” is now titled "Ah Aah - Best Friend/Anbe Aaruyire". The audio of the film was released with a lot of fanfare at Albert theatre in Chennai on July 20.
"Anbe Aaruyire" is the title of a Sivaji Ganesan film released about 35 years back. Vaali has written the lyrics for the film said “I had penned the lyrics for that movie also which also had six songs”.
Two songs from the film were shown for the select audience. Nila is the heroine of the film. Suryah is the producer, dialogue writer, director and the protagonist in the film in spite of distributing the film in some areas.
The story of “Ah Aah - Best Friend” is about a lover couple who refuse to part in spite of their differences. Nila, the heroine is from Delhi and her real name is Meera Chopra. Suryah says that she resembles Simran and is sure to go places after the film releases
The title “Anbe Aaruyire” was selected after a contest was held. As many as 210 entries were received by Suryah who selected this title. He says that probably this may be the first time that a title has been selected by the public.
Suryah is all confident about the film’s success at the box-office and says that it is sure to please the masses and classes. A.R.Rahman’s music is amazing and is sure to rock. There are six songs out of which the introductory song of the hero is said to be the highlight.
The songs are tuned by A.R Rahman and they are picturised superbly on the lead pair. Suryah pays a lot of attention to the song picturisation in his films. Remember that songs in “Vaali”, “Kushi” and “New” were the highlights. The choreographers are Brinda and Cool Jayanth.
Director Shankar who was a guest at the audio launch praised Rahman’s music to the shy. He compared Rahman’s music to a piece of layered cake. “Anbe Aaruyire” is slated for release on August 12.
