Synopsis
: Balu Mahendra who gave memorable films like Moodram Pirai, Azhiyadha Kolangal , Sathi Leelavathy states that in his career spanning twenty nine years and 18 films feels that finally he has directed a film to his satisfaction. Speaking about his forthcoming film Adhu Oru Kanaa Kaalam, Balu says, "Each film of mine had some
shortcoming but this time everything has come out the right way. The teens are for dreaming and if you miss that period then it will never come back to you again because later on you grapple with the life's brutal reality".
The ace director wanted the tall frail dark skinned Dhanush lad for the role of an unemployed youth and Priya Mani plays the daughter of a maidservant. A stance taken by the father makes the life of the son go topsy-turvy. Produced by Vshwa Films, the film has music by Ilayaraja, and Delhi Ganesh, Karunas, Thalai Vasal Vijay, Shamugharajan, Kalairani, Khaushik are in the major cast.
