 Synopsis After the success of 'Thirumalai', director Ramana joins hands with Vijay again in 'Aathi'. The film is a remake of Telugu hit 'Atanokkade'. Vijay has always relished doing remakes and movies like 'Ninaithen Vandhai', 'Priyamanavale' and 'Gilli' have done wonders to his career. His father and veteran director S.A.Chandra Shekhar is producing 'Aathi'.
Vijay-Trisha's pairing is highly popular following their success of 'Gilli' and 'Thirupachi'. Sai Kumar, who made strides as a hero in Telugu and Kannada films, plays a villain in the movie.
