Synopsis
'Aalwar' starring Ajith and Asin would hit the screens to this Pongal. This will be the second project that the couple come together for, after the blockbuster 'Varalaru'. Chella, one-time associate director of director S.J.Suryah is making his debut as director through 'Aalwar'.
Ajith keen to continue the good run what with the astounding success of 'Varalaru', he is now going big with 'Aalwar'.
This movie is about an angry young man who cannot tolerate the injustice in society and is always eager to flex his muscles to go and fight for public causes. Vivek plays the role of his friend, working as a ward boy in a hospital. Through Vivek, Ajith comes to know the atrocities taking place in hospitals. Ajith decides to put an end to those atrocities and plan to do so. He joins the hospital as a ward boy, and gets to know more and more from the inside. Cute and astounding Asin plays the role of a college student who romances with Ajith while visiting the hospital to find out what he is up to. Malayalam actor Lal plays the negative role in this movie in a polished manner.
Director Chella, says "Not just power-packed performances, the movie has all the ingredients to attract the audience with action, romance and comedy. The main highlight is the action scenes, which have come out well." Srikanth Deva has scored the music for the movie and he has created a different musical genre.
