Story:
Venkatesh (Sarath Kumar) is a contended man who doesn't stir beyond the comfort zone of his
regimented life. He leads a simple life with his wife Kalyani (Andrea) and a son Nanda. One day Nanda is
diagnosed as he suffers from diabetics. And all of Venkatesh's earnings goes in Nanda's treatment. The
couple drift apart inexorably. Once Venkatesh meets Geetha (Jyothika) in a local train. She looks so
beautiful and her eyes carry the bait that no man can escape. Venkatesh falls for her charm and commits
a mistake.
Later, Geetha starts forcing Venkatesh to marry her. But in reality Geetha is already married and her
husband (Milind Soman) uses her in blackmailing Venkatesh. On the otherhand, Kalyani comes to know
that her husband maintains illegal relationship with a married woman. Venkatesh gets completely
sanwiched between the two problems. And how he finally gets out of these situations, is to be seen on
the big screen.
Performance:
Sarath Kumar does a great job. His emotions and feelings on screen are incredible. Jyothika plays a
negative role for the first time and she is superb. Debutante Andrea does well as a wife and a care taking
mother. Bollywood's model Milind Soman makes a remarkable debut with the film. The child artiste is
good. Music by Harris Jayaraj is the main highlight in the film. All the songs are well picturised. It is great
to see the beautiful locales in the film. Cinematography and editing are good. Story is interesting. Direction
is excellent. The other technical aspects are also fine.
