Sundar C in the remake of 'Murattukaalai' Finally, one among the film celebrities have decided to remake the yesteryear super hit 'Murattukaalai'. Chief Minister
M.Karunanidhi 's grandson and son of Amirtham Gunanidhi has decided to produce the remake of 'Murattukaali' that
featured Rajnikanth in lead role. Sundar.C is expected to perform the lead role while Suman will appear as baddie on
the role of Jai Shankar and Surali Rajan 's role would be played by Vivek adding to the humor part.
The original version was produced by AVM Productions with SP Muthuraman directing it. This film has one such
special mention since it won the credits of Superstar for Rajnikanth. The remake directed by Selva Bharathy will have
shooting commencing in a short period of time and probably is slated to hit the screens for 14th April, 2009. |
