'Heroes are not circus artistes' Heroes are just like normal people, they are not circus artistes,
said Neelan k. sekar, director of 'Alibaba', debut vehicle of
Vishnuvardhan's brother Krishna and being produced by their
father Pattiyal Shekhar. The title 'Alibaba' reminds us of the
character from the Arabian Nights, the cave of treasures and 40
thieves. The story centered on a man's luck and how that very
luck threatened to pose a danger to his life, ultimately his
righteousness got him out of that trouble. The movie too centers
on such a theme of luck and the trouble that it can
bring.
Neelan k. sekar said that he cast Krishna because he fit the role
perfectly. Janani plays the female lead. Prakash Raj has done a
character that he has never played before, that will be something
to watch out for. Neelan k. sekar said that the hero of his film will
be a very normal person, devoid of any superhuman acts. He
becomes a hero only because the story revolves around him.
The movie has come out well as a commercial mix of good
entertainment value. |
