'Saroja' to save 'Kuselan'

The 'Kuselan' issue is snowballing into a major crisis with the distributors and theater owners demanding a settlement from Rajinikanth, Kavithalaya and Seven Arts to make do their losses. It was reported that Ayngaran International is also in the storm's eye for procuring the distribution rights of Kavithalaya's 'Krishna Leelai' and 'Thiruvannamalai'.

Sensing trouble, Ayngaran International had reportedly offered the distributors and theater owners the rights of Venkat Prabu's 'Saroja'.

The theatre owners and distributors are now contemplating accepting the offer, but some are skeptical about 'Saroja' bombing at the box office. Meanwhile, Rajini had asked for the Daily Collection Report (DCR) from all the theatres screening 'Kuselan'.
