Lesser prints for 'Kuselan'  The 'Kuselan' team will now print only 500 to 600 copies of the film. According to sources close to the
Superstar, the decision to do this is based on wanting to reverse the trend where fans end up seeing
the film within a few days of its release. Elaborating more on this decision, sources added that more
number
of prints means releasing the film in many screens, decreasing the number of viewers considerably
within a few days of the movie hitting the screens. This could drastically reduce the chance of the film
seeing an100 day run. Also, a 100 day run would mean awards for technicians and artists, and in a
movie that is celebrating cinema (Cinema, Cinema), it seems only right that those in the shadow of
the arc lights should be rewarded. |
