| ‘Aaha Ethanai Azhagu’ is an action oriented romantic movie. Kanmani makes his debut as a director. He also provided the story and dialogues for the movie. This is Mithun's second film after ‘Gummalam’. He does a fairly decent job. The movie moves in good pace.
Coming to story, Chandru (Mithun) and Divya (Sharmi) meet on the train and fall in love. But Chandru's brother Rajasekar (Nasser) has other plans.
Also Divya's arrogant father Natarajan (Pyramid Natarajan) is not going to brook any resistance from her.
The lovers try to run away from their families, when calamity strikes. Conveniently for the grownups, the young lovers now suffer from amnesia. Taking advantage of Chandru's brother tries to push him into a marriage with his business partner's daughter. After a few instances, a predictable climax ends the film.
Mithun proved to be a good actor he was good in the dances and fights too. Sharmi looks beautiful and did well. Pyramid Natarajan as the girl’s father and Nasser as the hero's brother did justice to their roles. Vidyasagar's music is impressive. |
